Tribal Fee-to-Trust
The Tribal Fee-to-Trust process was established to remedy the devastating loss of over 90 million acres of Indian lands from the General Allotment Act of 1887 by passing the Indian Reorganization Act of 1934. We are honored to assist Tribes in this process. Our Senior Consultant has been conducting Tribal Fee-to-Trust acquisitions since 2005 and has become a trusted advisor to several Tribal Nations in the Pacific Northwest. Our assessments have helped place thousands of acres safely into trust.

" I would highly recommend ESA Associates for environmental assessments needed both during fee-to-trust transfers and property acquisitions. They are thorough and bring their projects in on time and within budget. They have a good working relationship with the personnel at the Bureau of Indian Affairs." Bill Holway, Muckleshoot Indian Tribe's Realty Specialist.
