ESA Associates was established in the year 2000 with one important objective: to provide technically sound solutions for our client's environmental challenges. ESA Associates has over 22 years experience working closely with the Washington State Department of Ecology, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the United States Department of Interior (DOI), and the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA).

ESA Associates has managed multiple soil and groundwater characterizations, remedial investigations, and remedial actions under Washington State's Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA), EPA's Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and EPA's Resource Compensation and Recovery Act (RCRA).

ESA Associates has remediated sites with a wide range of contaminants such as: petroleum hydrocarbons, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), priority pollutant metals, chlorinated pesticides, dioxins, and furans.
